Hey Mark, All these months you’ve been saying that MD discusses everything with you and takes calls on a lot of affairs only after he chats with you. Apart from flaunting your clout and dropping MD’s name, you’ve been promoting your favourites while ignoring the more talented. Simply because some have sucked up to you for various reasons and the talented haven’t.

You’ve been desperately trying to increase your clout by manipulating to instate your own people in other cities to head various TIMS. Such scheming tactics have showed your insecurity (don’t mind but this is also where your eternal back problem could’ve stemmed from). These devious moves are unbecoming of a man of your position and stature. They’ve only showcased your greed for engineering control.

When you’d taken charge of Bombay Times, you seemed to be the man of the moment. But your petty politics and groupism has now left you in a pitiful state. Instead of playing games and politics, if you would’ve concentrated more on fairness, it would’ve made a world of difference.

You’ve been promoting your socialite cum business friends and doing all big exclusive celebrity interviews yourself and then asking them to keep in direct touch only with you, even when some of the interviews are lined up through other’s efforts. You have gone to the extent of repeatedly claiming that top Medianet clients want to be interviewed personally by you and not by other staff. At times you insist that Medianet clients come through you. This is sheer monopoly, as if you own our paper.

In the quest for a tremendous rise in status, name, social position and prestige, you have cunningly ignored many. But the most appalling facet is that you flirt while you do all this indiscrimination.

Because of the frustrations in your tumultuous personal life, you’ve often tried to cause distress in ours. Spare us Mark. Spare us the pain. Get a life. Talent is not only your forte. Also try and limit your flirting to Facebook and your wives. Spare us the pain.

Lastly, please stop using the words “my girls”. Most of us are independent and don’t wish to be the girls of a self centred power hungry egoistic man.
